Project Overview: Ross Development Company is upgrading its facility by opening a new Toyota dealership in Moon Township, PA and needed a site development company to provide them a "turnkey" solution. The new location had existing conditions that made it unsuitable to start construction immediately. Four existing structures, unsuitable fill on part of the site, rock on the other, and the need to meet LEED specifications added to the challenges of the site development project. Sciarretti Site Development & Paving Company was there to provide the client a complete, economical site development solution that met their budget and needs.
Work Completed: We provided our client a complete solution to their site development project. From controlling erosion to installing the finished lighting fixtures, Sciarretti Site Development & Paving Company was there every step of the way to ensure deadlines were met and the project was completed. Since the project occurred in a densely populated business district it was critical to control erosion and was accomplished with over 1200' of silt fence, applying 45,000 s.f. of seeding, and installing an overflow pond. Once erosion control was in place, project moved to demolition of existing structures on site and clearing and grubbing of site. Refuse was disposed according to all state, federal regulations, and according to the LEED specifications, and salvageable asphalt and concrete was crushed and recycled. Site was then readied for construction.
